The mildness of Liguria all year round
Sun-kissed, all year round
A 58-kilometer long journey of emotions to Ventimiglia.
The Western Ligurian coast, kissed by the sun and a mild climate all year round, is also known as Riviera dei Fiori (Riviera of Flowers). It boasts a landscape of a thousand shades which, at 300 meters above sea level, transforms into valleys, hills, and mountain villages, between history and ancient traditions.
There is life and beauty in every season, between the sandy strips of Diano Marina and Arma di Taggia, the rocks of Capo Sant’Ampelio and Capo Cervo.
In Bordighera, the elegant botanical gardens hug the coast, while Sanremo, famous for its Art Nouveau buildings and the Italian Song Festival, also enchants with its beaches. Imperia has a double soul: Oneglia is famous for its port and the production of olive oil, while Porto Maurizio, with its alleys and ancient churches, embraces you with its typical local atmosphere and fascinates with the view from Parasio, the city’s highest borough.
Ospedaletti is an oasis of peace and tranquility on the sea, located almost in the center of an inlet formed by Capo Nero to the east and Capo S. Ampelio to the west, between pristine beaches and cultural routes.
For bike enthusiasts, the ancient rails of a disused railway line become a cycle path along the sea. The first stretch extends from Ospedaletti to San Lorenzo, for 24 kilometers and eight municipalities, and is equipped with a cycle path, pedestrian promenade, access to the beaches and green areas.
Every corner of the Riviera dei Fiori reveals a symphony of unforgettable spots, embellished by the generous nature and the elegance of its history.
I come from a seaside town; a country that merges and sinks into that garden.
